Corey Jorgenson has served as SRSP’s Chief Executive Officer since November, 2021. In this role, Corey has responsibility for all management of SRSP’s business, team, and place in our community and industry. Corey has 28 years of experience in our ag and food industry industry, beginning with 20 years of time with Cargill, Inc where his experience in both US and China soybean crush businesses built his knowledge, and affinity for the business. Following Cargill, Corey led the Grain and Trade groups at The Andersons, Inc for 5 years. Corey has an Economics degree from St. Olaf College, and also graduated from Harvard’s Executive Education Series focusing on Asia Agri Business. 

Christy Marchand has served as SRSP’s Chief Financial Officer since mid 2021 and has full responsibility for all of SRSP’s financial, accounting and treasury functions. Christy brings strong finance leadership experience from nearly 20 years of work in ag and chemical processing industries. She led the finance function for an Iowa ethan

Christy Marchand has served as SRSP’s Chief Financial Officer since mid 2021 and has full responsibility for all of SRSP’s financial, accounting and treasury functions. Christy brings strong finance leadership experience from nearly 20 years of work in ag and chemical processing industries. She led the finance function for an Iowa ethanol business for a number of years and serves on the board of an Iowa ethanol business currently. Christy’s depth of experience serves our finance function and team of people extremely well.

Jared Heldt is SRSP’s Director of Merchandising and Risk Management, and has served in this capacity since November, 2021. In his role Jared leads all commercial activity and decision making, which includes both physical and derivative risk positions. Jared’s team originates the soybeans we process and works with industry partners to manage customers and our risk positions in soybean meal, oil and hulls. The team also manages all transportation and logistics work necessary to efficiently and economically run our business and serve our customer base. Jared brings more than a decade of merchandising and risk management depth of experience from his time with ADM in various oilseed processing locations across the US. Jared’s excellent analytical and decision making capabilities in combination with his assertive yet humble leadership approach are a strong foundation for our merchandising and risk management team. 

Ken Drilling is SRSP’s Director of Operations and Engineering. In his role, Ken leads and works with a large team of people who ensure that our physical operations are safe to people and the environment, that our plant is efficient and accomplishes its known capabilities, and that we constantly seek the next opportunity to be better via

Ken Drilling is SRSP’s Director of Operations and Engineering. In his role, Ken leads and works with a large team of people who ensure that our physical operations are safe to people and the environment, that our plant is efficient and accomplishes its known capabilities, and that we constantly seek the next opportunity to be better via capital investment and the ideas of his experienced team of people coming together. Ken joined SRSP following a near 30 year career in various operational leadership roles with Cargill, Inc. Of particular note, Ken was the facility Superintendent at multiple locations and was Project Manager for a brownfield bio-diesel project from start to completion. Ken’s depth of experience in leading and developing operational teams is a solid base for our large operational and engineering team.
